
Choosing a book cover for a book on farming in Australia

The manuscript for Small Farm, Big Success – how to make a life and a living on the land is undergoing final edits, so it’s time to begin playing around with ideas for a book cover. Given that we’re bootstrapping this book as it only has a modest potential readership in Australia (tree changers, students, rural dreamers and farmers on small landholdings), we’re going to try and design the cover ourselves using Canva.
We first tested the covers at the local farmers’ market, but then decided to ask our farm’s Facebook followers to weigh in with their thoughts. Totally different results!
