Book launch at Book Face Port Macquarie
What is it about a great bookstore that makes you want to cosy down aisles, run your finger over spines and absorb all the knowledge within? What is it about Book Face Port Macquarie that makes it such a great bookstore? It’s the people, the timber shelves, the curated books and the promise of filling your bag with insights and joy, musings and literary music. Oh yes…and the aromas emanating from the in-house coffee shop!
That’s why I was so happy to be able to hold the book launch there for Small Farm Success Australia – How to Make a Life and a Living on the Land. A great crew turned up, from strangers who had heard about the book on ABC Radio to friends from the Firefly Book Club to some of the farmers whose stories appear within the pages. I was also able to give people a sneak peek into my upcoming book Honey Farm Dreaming.
A lovely morning, in a lovely bookshop. Thanks Bookface!
